Animal Health Hospital has provided affordable, high quality veterinary care to Boise, Idaho for many years. Founder, Dr. Ellen German, received her Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and graduated from Tuft’s Veterinary School in 1992. Before opening Animal Health Hospital in 2003 Dr. German worked at various animal clinics providing quality animal care. In her spare time, she cares for the pets of homeless citizens and participates in Friendly Fixers, the weekly, low-cost cat spay and neuter clinic at Pet Haven in Nampa, Idaho. Khamko, is a veterinarian from Laos who has worked in conjunction with Dr. German for over 20 years. Khamko, and the wonderful staff at Animal Health Hospital, assist in Friendly Fixers events helping to keep stray cats off the streets and into their forever home.

MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr. German is a single mother of three active teenage daughters. Her family enjoys helping others such as caring for the pets of homeless people. In addition, Dr. German also enjoys traveling, biking, skiing, dirt biking, and playing golf.
